SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS ENROLLING NOW (Ms. Liz and Ms. Lindsey) 9:00-12:45 Monday-Friday $140.00 per session/child (10% discount for siblings) (Fee due the week prior to camp) $25.00 one time registration fee per child (This fee covers snacks and craft fees, and will reserve your space) PLEASE ENROLL EARLY AS EACH CAMP MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 7 CHILDREN OR WE WILL HAVE TO CANCEL Participation requirements:Currently enrolled at ILMS (or alumni), minimum of 3 years old by June 1, 2008 Older ILMS siblings are encouraged and are welcome to attend! In keeping with Montessori philosophy, we will be keeping all of the ages together this year. Older (7 years and up) students will have the opportunity to create separate and more advanced projects, as well as help with the younger children. They will enjoy their status as “junior camp helpers” (they will have a special t-shirt to wear and take home). Snack will be provided, but your child will need to bring his/her lunch. CAMP THEMES/WEEKS June 9-13 YOUNG CHEFS We are going to start off camp with everybody’s favorite….FOOD!. Our young chefs will use common foods in different ways to make unusual creations. The variety of scents, colors, textures, and shapes that are found in foods appeal to the senses and inspire creativity. June 16-20 MUSIC/CREATIVE MOVEMENT Come join our Annual Music Camp Parade! We will have several musical visitors including our favorite guests and we will introduce new cool talents this year. You might be the next ILMS IDOL! June 23-27 ART Express yourself and be free to create, imagine, and experiment with different colors, lines, shapes and forms. This promotes learning and development of your child’s gross and fine motor skills. We will have fun bringing out the Michelangelo, Picasso and other artists in your child.
July 21-25 DRAMA This is a hit every year. We will have a week of Nursery Rhymes, Folk tales, and Fairy Tales where we will explore and show off our talent of acting. As always dress-up is exciting and fun. And of course we will produce a play at the end of the week!
